Together with FFAviron (French Federation of Rowing) and MAIF, Active Giving joined forces during the WORLD ROWING MASTERS REGATTA 2022 in Libourne to convert kilometres covered through rowing into trees that will be planted on the french territory with the project Reforest’Action.
During 3 days, we invited visitors of the event to join our booth where 3 rowing machine were placed so people could join and row. For each kilometre completed on a machine, a tree will be financed. With more than 300+ rowers joining our challenge, 217 trees were collected!
We even had a row machine that could blend fruit for super yummy smoothies!
